Scholarship applicants who are U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens must fill-out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available at www.fafsa.ed.gov, and complete the financial aid process.
NOTE: Applicants must complete a FAFSA and include their SAR (student aid report) with their application. |
| Established in February 2005, Marilyn Casey a former nurse purposed this fund to assist students who are pursing a degree in a health related field at an Illinois community college. Scholarship monies are to be used to defray educational costs while enrolled at City Colleges.

Eligibility Criteria
* Must show evidence of sufficient ability to succeed in the program he/she has selected, and such ability will be determined by the college staff based on normal procedures at that college
* Expected to achieve satisfactory academic progress for each semester enrolled
* Show evidence of financial need.(Must have completed the FASFA process at the college level)
* Resident of the City of Chicago and eligible for in-district tuition rates
* Must have completed all prerequisites and enrolled in a health related program. |
