NOTE: Applicants must complete a FAFSA and include their SAR (student aid report) with their application. |
| The Kathryn Lenihan Scholarship Fund was named to honor Kathryn Lenihan, former Dean of Students at Richard J. Daley College. The purpose of the fund is to provide book scholarships for students enrolled at Richard J. Daley College or at West Side Technical Institute (WSTI). Scholarship monies are to be used to defray the cost of books (text books, reference books or workbooks) as outlined in the syllabus of a course in which the applicant is enrolled.

Eligibility Criteria • Minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and in good standing.
• High school or GED graduate.
• Resident of the City of Chicago and eligible for in-district tuition rates.
• Must be enrolled in a minimum 6 credit hours per semester and pursuing any associate degree or vocational certificate program.
• In need of financial assistance.
• Must have completed at least 6 credit hours prior to applying for this scholarship.
