Established through the will of Jack Kent Cooke in 2000, The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is a private, independent foundation. Mr. Cooke believed education was a lifelong pursuit. Thus, the purpose of The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program is to award approximately 50 scholarships each year to students attending community colleges or two-year institutions in the US and planning to transfer to four-year institutions. Each award will cover a portion of educational expenses, including tuition, living expense, required fees, and books for the final two to three years of the baccalaureate degree. Every Scholarship varies, depending on the cost of attendance and other scholarships or grants received.
Eligibility Criteria
• STUDENT MUST BE NOMINATED BY A FACULTY MEMBER(S; Please refer to the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship nominee guidelines.

• Be a current student at an accredited US community college or two-year institution with sophomore status by December 31, of the current year, or be a recent graduate, since May of the current year.

• Have a cumulative college grade point average of 3.50 or better

• Plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to begin studies in Fall of the current year.

• Not have previously been nominated for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship.
