Scholarship applicants who are U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens must fill-out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available at www.fafsa.ed.gov, and complete the financial aid process.
NOTE: Applicants must complete a FAFSA and include their SAR (student aid report) with their application.
Immigrant and undocumented students must be pre-qualified under the Scholarship Qualification Process prior to applying for this scholarship.
The Randall M. Johnson Scholarship for the Arts is designed to assist students who are interested in pursuing a full-time degree and/or career in the Humanities or the Fin Arts. The Dr. Randall M. Johnson Scholarship is for academic achievement and provides a $500 scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
• Be a full time student and maintain full time status
• Must posess and maintain at least 6 credit hours of enrollment.
• Have a minimum 2.75 G.P.A
• Write or type, and submit a minimum 500 word personal statement, identifying academic and career goals
• Provide two (2) letters of recommendation from former faculty, college advisors or community representatives (at least one letter must come from a Malcolm X College faculty member in the Communication/Fine Arts department).
• Provide a copy of your grade history from your my.ccc.edu account
• Provide the completed application.

Note: Incomplete applications will not be considered
